HR Coordinator

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain records of personnel-related data
• Prepares monthly announcement of birthdays, anniversaries and other milestones
• Supports HR team with tasks and other projects as requested
• Schedule meetings and interviews as requested by the director of HR
• Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions
• Assist with onboarding candidates
• Assist with monthly benefit reconciliation
• Monitor employee compliance training and policy distribution
• Assist with ad hoc projects

Education:

• BS/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; Human Resource Management a plus

Experience:

• 1-2 years related office or administrative experience, preferably as part of the HR Department
• Multi-site location support experience preferred

Technical Skills:

• Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), internet and database management
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Experience with an HRIS preferred

Soft Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Organized and detail oriented
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
• Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues
