Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain records of personnel-related data

Prepares monthly announcement of birthdays, anniversaries and other milestones

Supports HR team with tasks and other projects as requested
-
Schedule meetings and interviews as requested by the director of HR
-
Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions

Assist with onboarding candidates
-
Assist with monthly benefit reconciliation
-
Monitor employee compliance training and policy distribution
-
Assist with ad hoc projects
Education:
-
BS/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; Human Resource Management a plus
Experience:
-
1-2 years related office or administrative experience, preferably as part of the HR Department
-
Multi-site location support experience preferred
Technical Skills:
-
Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), internet and database management
-
Demonstrated project management skills
-
Experience with an HRIS preferred
Soft Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Organized and detail oriented

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines

Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues
