What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tow Truck Operator position at Apache Sands Service Center?
Apache Sands Towing is seeking Full Time Tow Truck Operators to operate a company owned flatbed and equipment to assist for the following emergency services: Police Towing, Emergency Towing, battery boost, fuel delivery, lockout, flat tire/tire changes, extricating/winching, and accidents.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform all duties in compliance with safety and security standards
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Maintain and protect all company property
- Inspect company vehicle and report any damages or safety conditions to management, following appropriate procedures
Key requirements include:
- Knowledge of towing procedures and practices, a plus
- Knowledge of automotive repair and service techniques, a plus
- Experience with smartphones, a plus
- Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful)
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and employees
- Working knowledge of the metropolitan Phoenix area, preferred
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Current clean 39 month driving record
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to work overtime if needed
Candidates must be able to work any day shift including weekends.
