Your Responsibilities as a CAD Intern:- Work under direction of senior staff.
- Utilize CAD software to assist with the drafting and design of technical drawings to support various departments across Apex.
- Assist in processing field survey data to generate base maps for engineering design.
- Work with other CAD Team Members, Project Managers, and Project Engineers to understand scope of work, schedule, and budget.
- Actively develop your own career growth.
- A high school degree and 0-2 years of related experience.
- Enrollment in an Associate's Degree program with a focus in Engineering Technology, Computer-Aided Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite, AutoCAD, and the add-on program Civil 3D.
- Excellent technical communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices.
- Working with the best and brightest in the industry.
