Description
The Materials Integrator will assist the Procurement and Materials Handling team. This position will monitor inventory levels of stock, shop materials, PPE & fleet vehicles, while working closely with shipping & receiving and sales. The position will report directly to the Controller.

Roles And Responsibilities
- Timeline Management of materials according to the company’s policies and procedures.
- Maintain Inventory levels accurately with minimum stock.
- Evaluate vendors based on price, reliability, capability, and previous transaction history.
- Monitor and advise on the performance of suppliers.
- Research and select alternate materials and parts when original spec’s parts may not meet delivery or price expectations.
- Monitor delivery dates and backorder status and communicates timing to impacted parties to ensure project timelines are maintained.
- Work with accounts payable on received deliveries.
- Maintain appropriate stocking levels of general shop materials including PPE.
- Assists with fleet vehicle monitoring and maintenance scheduling.
- Manage the return of defective or overstocked items.
- Perform weekly inventory cycle counts.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High sense of urgency.
- Thorough understanding of purchasing procedures and policies.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is highly preferred.
- At least three years of purchasing experience is required.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access all areas of the facility to determine purchasing needs.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to local day travel.
