Position Overview
- **Desired Experience Level**: We value flexibility and are ideally looking for someone with 3-5 years of budget or financial experience, though all candidates with a passion for finance and defense are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily Status of Funds reports using GFEBS.
- Skillfully prepare Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs) and create Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for contracts and Government Purchase Card (GPC) purchases.
- Efficiently clear IDOCs within GFEBS.
- Analyze and contribute to the tri-annual Joint Reconciliation Program (JRP).
- Engage with Customer Budget Points of Contact (POCs) to ensure clear and effective communication.
- Set up and manage journal vouchers for cost transfers of customer funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Capable of creating detailed process documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
