We have an immediate need for a Database Architect to support the SyncUP Things platform team.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to team supporting the SyncUP-branded Consumer IoT products
- Analyze current cloud-based data architecture
- Help design next generation architecture to ensure scalability and growth of SyncUP systems
Required Skills:
- Strong data modeling skills
- Real experience with database sharding and partitioning
- Expertise in distributed databases - especially PostgreSQL
- Expertise in high load, time series data - especially IoT telemetry data
Desired Skills:
- Experience using Citus
- Experience using Snowflake
- Knowledge of Azure IoT Hub
- Azure Service Bus and/or Event Hub
- Cosmos DB
