Seeking an enterprise architect for our team who will be responsible for the technology strategy and senior level relationships with business and delivery counterparts.
The Enterprise Architect (technical leader) will be responsible for creating and driving the technical strategy with product managers/owners with a complex and multi-faceted interactions with many delivery teams. You will partner with many teams to craft technology strategy for products in scope, with a focus on business value/drivers, technology modernization, innovation, cloud adoption while driving simplified and rationalized architecture. In collaboration with product managers and owners, you will drive benefit delivery across a defined set of products.
As a trusted enterprise architect, you will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build healthcare solutions that will impact millions of lives. You will also need to be adept at interacting, communicating and partnering with other teams such as delivery, product, platform and professional services, as well as representing your team to executive management.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Candidate needs to have demonstrable solution or enterprise architecture skills and experience. Healthcare domain knowledge is highly preferred. They should have extensive technical experience as well - they will need to understand how technologies are integrated together.

Team consists of 7 architects and one VP. Architects have an area of concentration with some overlap. They will work with other architects, product owners, dev/tech leads and management
What does the interview process look like?
a. How many rounds?
Likely 3. One with the hiring manager, one with the peer group and one with the VP of Architecture
b. Video vs. phone?
Phone is sufficient
c. How technical will the interviews be?
They will be asked to speak in detail about solutions they were involved in designing and/or implementing.
d. When do you anticipate starting the interview process?

Primary Responsibilities:
-- Ensure capital programs stay aligned to Enterprise strategy while leveraging existing components and capabilities across the business segment landscape
-- Model the technical landscape to analyze the alignment of business capabilities with delivered technology and IT solutions
-- Analyze the current technology environment to detect critical business/ technical gaps, identify technology advancement opportunities and collaborate with business and technology partners to drive architecture runway and target state
-- Design and lead the Technology Architecture (reference architecture) based on business requirements and IT strategies, as well as being a champion to rectify gaps and pain points within the current state. Influence the development, communication and implementation of the enterprise technology architecture
-- Build end-to-end solution plans in the form of roadmaps that define the ideal and future state systems solution, scope of solution initiatives, solution delivery sequencing through architecture transition states, and assumptions and risks
-- Assist with the governance activities associated with ensuring Enterprise Technology Architecture compliance
-- Consult on solution architecture implementations and modification activities (projects), particularly for new and/or shared solutions
-- Actively participate in technical fit review activities for capital programs
-- Facilitate change and process improvement within the architecture community
Required Qualifications:
-- 7 years of design/implementation/consulting experience of large-scale, enterprise applications
-- 3 years of experience in a large enterprise in a leadership role
-- Demonstrated experience developing enterprise application architectures to meet business requirements in complex environments
-- Experience with cloud solutions, virtual platforms, software development experience, and operational management practices and frameworks
-- Large-scale systems integration involving on-premises technology and public cloud platforms
-- Understanding of security, risk and compliance frameworks, disaster recovery, high availability architectures, hardware, operating systems and networking connectivity
