Job Description:

Title: QA

Location: Cleveland Ohio onsite 3 days a week

Contract-6-12 months

Apex Systems is supporting a fortune 200 company out of Cleveland Ohio with a QA position. The QA Engineer will support the agile project and work closely with stakeholders creating test cases and lead production.

Formal Education & Certification

• Bachelor degree or foreign equivalent in a related field or equivalent experience.
  
  

Must Haves

• 3-5 years IT experience.
• 4 years work experience in the area of software testing/quality assurance.
• 3 years experience in manual test execution
• 3 years experience in automated test creation and execution.
• 3 years experience working with test management tools.
• Proficient in testing software manually; including but not limited to experience-based, context, exploratory, and scenario testing.
• Experience applying testing skills: Test plan and test case formulation, report creation, defect tracking, and creation of acceptance criteria.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience using various testing methodologies.
• Exposure to Agile software delivery; acceptance test driven development and/or test driven development preferred.
• Experience testing web applications in desktop and mobile browsers/devices preferred.
• Experience with Agile development and release practices preferred.
• Exposure to version control preferred.
• Exposure to SQL preferred
