Job Duties

• Perform should cost analyses and models to support strategic procurement

• Collaborate with cross functional team members to develop negotiation strategies and deliver savings

• Partner with R&D to develop Design to Cost and Design to Value models for new components and/or high-level assemblies

• Partnering with other supply chain and functional roles in the evaluation of supplier capabilities and business fit.

• Lead or participate in supplier selection process when determining business awards for components or assemblies

• Identify opportunities to initiate continuous improvement projects within value streams that contribute to reduced cost, lead time and risk profiles.

• Assess internally manufactured components and/or assemblies for Make vs. Buy assessments

• Perform capacity analysis by partnering with suppliers and leading through a capacity assessment.
