Job Description:
A fortune 500 client of Apex Systems is looking for a UX Researcher to join their team. The candidate will join a collaborative team of 9 UX Designers and UX Researchers in the Supply Chain line of business. This position requires travel to various distribution centers, typically once every 4 weeks. This individual will help with iterative launches of a proprietary warehouse management system and be responsible for product research, stakeholder and end-user communication, application design and usability testing. Candidate is expected to conduct contextual research as it impacts users in the field as to what aspects of the application are proving successful, and what aspects of the application need to be modified or enhanced. The candidate must also be a solid communicator and an experienced meeting facilitator with a variety of different PM and IT partners as well as high-level stakeholders in Supply Chain operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in the supply chain space, either directly in warehousing, or with a logistics and back-office retail background.

Must Haves:
- Enterprise-focused work experience
- 3-5 years of UX Research (95%) and UX Design (5%)
- Fluency with the UX tools of Figma and Miro
- Exposure to both qualitative (e.g. Medallia) and quantitative (e.g. Google Analytics) research tools
- Required travel once every 4 weeks (mostly Eastern and Central time zones)
- Ability to create a narrative/paint a picture of their design process; strong communicator/storyteller
Nice to Haves:
- Proficiency working on complex systems, end to end
- Research Experience: Competitive Benchmarking, Task-Rating, User Stores, Analytics Tools, Surveys
- Experience in supply chain, warehousing logistics, back-office retail or e-commerce
- Exposure to product analytic software
