Description:
This is a hybrid position, the number of days required in the office and the actual days of the week will vary based on the needs of the team.Seeking for Engineer with Prod Support and Monitoring exposure to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. In this role you will be part of the L3 team, and responsible for improving the stability, availability, supportability, and performance aspects of multiple applications. You will be working closely with L2/L1 support, development, and IT support groups while collaborating with several lines of business.Additional Accountabilities:
- Drive high severity production incident calls to quick resolution
- Design and implement strategies to effectively monitor for application health, stability and performance
- Pro-active monitoring to prevent major incidents
- Guide technical support staff and clients to investigate, analyze, and resolve highly complex technical problems
- Responsible for troubleshooting and resolution of performance problems.
- Work with application development, network, database, and infrastructure specialists to identify and implement performance improvements. Take the lead on assisting development teams in planning on-going performance support and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with developers to promote performance engineering best practices to catch performance earlier in the SDLC life cycle
- Preferred Skills/Experience:
- 7 years of experience across multiple technology disciplines
- 5 years of experience in support and monitoring role for large applications

- Resource will be working with monitoring/support team. Responsible for setting up pro-active monitoring and providing support.

Skills/Technologies are required (please include the number of years of experience required):
- 7 years of experience across multiple technology disciplines
- 5 years of experience in support and monitoring role for large applications
- Experience with Applications developed using Java, Angular, Spring boot, .Net Core, ASP.NET, Require.js, Angular, JSON, Node.js, Rest API, HTML5, etc.
- Experience with performance monitoring tools such as App Dynamics, Dynatrace etc and log monitoring tools such as Splunk, Kibana etc
- Experience working with complex Web development projects
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Excellent technical knowledge with experience in supporting large-scale applications
