What You Will Do:
The Customer Service Representative to will provide top notch service to our customers, ensure that their requirements and needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
Receiving phone calls from customers with various questions and inquiries about API products including placing a new order, following up on an existing order, product specific questions, and/or tracking a shipment.
Collaborating with other the sales, shipping, and operations teams to ensure that we are delivering on our customer’s expectations.
Order-entry into API’s ERP system (PLEX)
Responsible for entering/update leveled EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) schedules
Obtain freight quotes and select appropriate carrier. Responsible for working with freight forwarders on international shipments
Perform quotes, re-quotes, and pricing to customers, as well as managing the Master Price File
Customer invoicing, posting and back flushing of orders
Review customers purchase order and verify the accuracy and terms of sales orders
What You Bring:
Associates degree preferred plus at least three years of customer service experience with a manufacturing firm
Attention to detail, ability to handle multiple ongoing projects and tasks at a time
Solution focused and sense of urgency
Proven ability to empathize with the customer and de-escalate challenging interactions
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc.) required
