Offering a comprehensive collection of original music, the TV, Film and Trailers team at APM Music helps music supervisors, filmmakers, studios, distributors, production companies, editors and producers find/license/create music for their productions from our ever-expanding collection of 1M tracks.
The Role
We are seeking an Accounting Manager to lead all Accounting and Finance functions under the direction of the CFO. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the development, interpretation, and implementation of complex financial and accounting concepts, financial planning and internal controls. The Accounting Manager will manage the monthly, quarterly and yearly accounting close process, and will work closely with other team members to build accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP. The Accounting Manager will also be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements.

Requirements:
- Flexible, strategic team player with high integrity and ethical standards, who is also able and willing to be extremely “hands-on;”
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively;
- Must be able to fluctuate between micro and macro issues, working with staff at a detailed level and delivering results to management at an executive level;
- Meticulous, detailed-oriented and organized;
- Must be software savvy and able to reconcile data between multiple systems;
- Expert Excel skills and the ability to manage large sets of data using vlookups, pivot tables and sumifs;
- Bachelors in Accounting/Finance required;
- Strong understanding of GAAP and full Accounting Cycle;
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role
- CPA is preferred, but not required
