Apollo Interactive is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our Lead Generation team. This is a full-time position is out of our Los Angeles (El Segundo) office.
We are looking for someone who is excited about direct response and performance marketing in general, the thrill of closing business, the opportunity to be rewarded well for your efforts, and has connections to the insurance and/or lead generation industries. You will work closely with the EVP, Director, and Account Services teams to identify, prospect, engage, wow, and procure new business.

Responsibilities:- Build a prospecting strategy focused on generating qualified opportunities
- Engage prospects through various channels
- Present Apollo’s capabilities and experience both in person and remotely
- Determine the validity of the opportunity: relevant needs, ROI expectations, performance metrics, etc.
- Collaborate with the team to develop the proper approach for each opportunity
- Be an active participant in crafting the approach, strategy, and solution
- Serve as part of the Account Services team
- Attend industry conferences, meetings, networking functions, etc. (when safe to do so) to develop new business
Qualifications:
- Excited about the challenge of pursuing and closing business
- 2 years of new business development experience in AdTech, Lead Gen or insurance
- Self-starter and independent thinker
- Able to work independently and across teams with multiple stakeholders
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including excellent grammar, spelling, punctuation and attention to detail
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the proven ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
- BA/BS degree from 4-year university required
