We are looking for a full-time EDI/ETL Developer to join our fast-growing team (based in Los Angeles or remote).

What you’ll do:
- Facilitate and support electronic data transfers (inbound claims processing and outbound encounter submissions)
- Conduct data analysis, needs assessment, and cost/benefit determination to align EDI strategies with the goals of the organization
- Write P&Ps, manuals, and other technical EDI documentation
- Experience writing complex SQL queries
- Implement performance analysis to promote high quality EDI processes and optimize acceptance rates, volumes, timeliness, and overall execution efficiency
- Analyzes, designs, codes, tests, and implements application enhancements, as well as provides general production support, meets defined scope, target dates, and budgets with minimal or no defects.
- Implement and support data automation, healthcare EDI applications and application integrations
- Perform detailed functional and quality unit-level testing to ensure requirements are met
- Assist in or oversee implementation and maintenance of EDIFECS systems as required
- Complete user acceptance testing and production business validation testing for assigned projects
- Support relationships with internal and external clients
- Assist with IPA and health plan meetings pertaining to claims and encounter data as required
- Perform ad hoc duties, projects, and actions as needed

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent software development or IT training from an accredited institution
- Minimum 6 Years of Experience in MS SQL SSIS/ETL
- A minimum of four years of health plan, IPA, or MSO experience recommended
- 4 Years of .NET(C#) development experience including cross platform communication technologies such as Web API or WCF
- Knowledge of health plan operations around membership, claims, and encounter data processing
- Expertise with HIPAA transaction standards and encounter data landscape, specifically 834, 835, 837P, 837I, 837D, 277,999, and TA1
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proven ability to prioritize and organize multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast paced, changing environment while meeting deadlines and turnaround time requirements
- Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to creatively solve problems
