As a member of the Real Estate & Development team, you will operate as a true partner to local business units, Global Security, IS&T, and other functional areas. You thrive in operating on both the strategic and tactical levels, simultaneously acting as an internal ambassador, educator, analyst, solutions architect, and implementer. Having passion and in-depth knowledge of central plant and infrastructure daily operations. Your experience in developing and implementing maintenance programs is also key to the role.
Key Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in facilities/property management, commercial real estate or professional services industries preferred
- Proven ability to plan and prioritize task in a self-directed work environment while maintaining high levels of efficiency
- Skilled understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing concepts in around central utility plants
- Highly skilled in oral and written communication, customer service, and customer satisfaction
- Relevant knowledge of local and state building and safety regulations
- Skilled understanding in the use of computer tools such as Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), efficiency software, e-mail, and databases
- Familiarity with macros and iOS platform
- Able to quickly adapt to new concepts, processes and tools
Description

They should also understand the nuances of being an approachable but smart client or buyer - encouraging transparent external relationships while balancing fiscal responsibility with creativity. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Act as key liaison for campus operations and maintenance work including scheduling, facilities project creation, oversight, and financial tracking.
Supervise all aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire / Life Safety, Building Automation, and critical environment systems.
Provide training to new team members or vendor leads to ensure that they are established within Apple's internal systems and processes.
Keep accurate documentation of any incidents, including Root Cause Analysis for internal reporting.
Provide direct supervision to the on-site Engineering team for daily performance of work and goals.
Assist with maintaining facility as required for both safety and aesthetics.
Make periodic inspections of work performed by on-site Engineering team and subcontracted vendors to ensure all work is of the upmost professional quality.
Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and logs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis; reporting deficiencies as needed.
Maintain records of all current regulatory and operating permits.
Hold ownership of the campus PM program and make recommendations for new maintenance procedures as needed.
Assist in selecting, developing, and evaluating on-site Engineering personnel and subcontracted vendors.
Respond to emergencies as they occur during and after regular hours.
Serve as back-up to the Maintenance Manager when needed.
Education & Experience
Some college or technical training coursework required; Bachelors preferred
