The Advanced Audio Devices SQA Team is seeking a highly driven, dynamic, and skilled test engineer with background in core audio and/or wireless technologies, guiding, and operating closely with the multi-functional teams to champion product quality of the AirPods product line.

Key Qualifications
- Demonstrates QA skills with at least 3 complete product cycles, from inception to customer shipment. Experience shipping customer facing products a plus
- Experience with hardware and/or software development lifecycle
- Experience with testing embedded consumer electronics or mobile devices
- Ability to work with multi-functional and remote teams to collectively achieve test goals
- Strong written and verbal communication as well as presentation skills
- Ability to lead and drive testing of projects and features
- Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g. Jira, Bugzilla, etc.)
Description
- Use test methods to validate Bluetooth headsets and its underlying technologies - Verify key features of one or more products and/or software updates
- Create and run tests to ensure the customer experience with Apple products
- Create test plans and be involved in the implementation of testing strategies and methodologies.
- Identify, reproduce, and isolate bugs in automated, structured and open styles of testing.
- Work collectively with your abilities to assist other teams to: implement and test new features, regress critical areas and drive resolution of issues.
Education & Experience
MS EE/CE/CS or BS and 5 years experience or equivalent experience

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $113,500 and $207,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
