The Hardware Validation Engineering (HVE) team is looking for a dedicated system test lab technician. In this position you will be responsible for Mac computer product designs. Our project-focused team members work together collaboratively, and strive to deliver the best hardware product that Apple is known for.
In this role you will be working in a large-scale system hardware test lab, and responsible for working on the latest Apple hardware products in development. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, detailed-oriented individual who hardworking in doing their best work.

Key Qualifications
- Ability to diagnose and triage user-level issues in MacOS and iOS.
- Excellent teammate and clear in communications of job issues and status.
- Experienced in working with automated test software to test and setup computers or phones.
- Dedicated, detail oriented, well-organized with capability to understand project requirements and focused in delivering project-level goals.
Description
The objective for this technician role is to setup and handle a large-scale hardware testing rack environment for system-level hardware validation projects.
Work with hardware validation engineers in enabling automated system hardware testing.
Responsible in leading logistics of operating a large-scale lab of automated system hardware test racks.
Physically set up and configure test systems, test devices and test hosts on test racks.
Maintain in-lab operations, and to run physical test environment.
Education & Experience
PC, Mac or IT technical support experience.

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $38.94 and $69.23/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
