What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hosts position at Applebee's?
Applebee’s Hosts ensure our guests are greeted with warmth, seated and served, setting the stage for the guests’ overall positive experience. The Hosts control the seamless flow of guests into the restaurant, rotating them fairly into different Server sections. Hosts answer phones, assist with Take Out orders, clean and move tables/chairs as needed and other Applebee’s Front of the House functions.
Professional appearance, and positive, warm attitude.
Good conversational skills, with an outgoing personality.
Able to take direction, multi-task, and demonstrate organizational skills.
Must be dependable, reliable, and responsible.
Must work well in a Team environment.
Desire to grow and learn within the restaurant and hospitality industry.
High School graduate or equivalent is preferred.
Amiable, outgoing, organized High School students would be considered.
Some restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train.
Be flexible with schedule, work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Reliable transportation required.
