Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing assistance as needed.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using the Aloha POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently using the cash register and maintain accurate cash handling practices.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and promotions to enhance guest services.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and efficient service flow.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down tables for service, including resetting for new guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to help guests feel welcome and valued.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha is a plus; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is desirable to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $14.89 - $16.21 per hour
