Maintenance Technician - 2nd & 3rd Shift

Job type: Full-time

Position Summary

• Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service.

Major Responsibilities

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Records maintenance activity.
• Forklift/skid steer loader repair experience preferred.
• May work with outside contractors when necessary.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• All other duties as assigned.

Scope of Job

• Requires effective communication skills with internal and external resources.
• May require overtime to maintain equipment in working order.
• Experience with Allen Bradley process controls is a plus, along with basic hydraulic system process and controls knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical School Training preferred.
• Three or more years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment
• Welding and Fabricating
• Strong Industrial electrical experience
• Must be able to effectively communicate to outside contractors when external resources are necessary.

Schedule:

• 8hour shift (possible overtime)
• Monday - Friday
• Weekend availability
• Second and Third shift available

Starting pay:

• $20.00 - $28.00 based on experience

• Hickory, Ky: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
