Job Title: AP/AR Specialist
**Location:** Apopka, FL (On-site)
**Salary:** $47,000 to $55,000 per year
**Employment Type:** Full-time
**Work Schedule:** Monday to Friday, Business Hours
**Role and Responsibilities:**
- Manage Receivables for all business units, including Property Management, Brokerage, Assisted Living, Home Health, Antique Mall & Corporate.
- Assist in reconciling assigned bank accounts monthly, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
- Calculate, record, and pay sales tax for assigned accounts, liaising with relevant authorities as necessary.
- Process, receive, and record receipts of payments for the Property Management portfolio, Advertising, and Home Health.
- Oversee billing processes for the Property Management portfolio.
- Record daily deposits for a related retail antique mall.
- Process all Brokerage commission requests efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of CAM reconciliations.
- Support the processing of quarterly distributions to investors.
- Provide weekly AR reports for all business units as required.
- Scan and archive all pertinent accounting documents in the file network.
- Maintain an Accounting activities calendar to ensure timely completion of critical tasks.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
**Attributes Required:**
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet monthly and quarterly deadlines.
- Strong Accounting, financial, computer, and communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office-Excel.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks; familiarity with Yardi preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in varying situations.
- Analytical and quantitative skills are essential.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks.
- Reliable transportation is a must.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
**Experience:**
- Minimum of 2 years of related Receivables and Payables experience required.
**Education Requirements:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
