The Technical Team at Dartmouth Health supports the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system and several ancillary clinical applications. This position will require you to work both collaboratively (with team members and other Information Systems groups) and independently to analyze, troubleshoot and implement technology solutions at Dartmouth Health. In this role you may be responsible for the full application development lifecycle:

-    Gathering end user requirements from clinical and other non-technical staff
-    Creating system requirements
-    Implementing software solutions
-    Testing and maintaining software solutions

Experience/Skill Set: 
Working knowledge of Windows server and workstation operating systems. Experience installing, configuring and maintaining software applications. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex problems spanning multiple systems and user groups to develop solutions. Ability to discuss and relay technical information to a non-technical audience. Experience with Epic’s electronic medical record system desirable but not necessary. Software development experience desirable but not necessary (work on Epic’s EMR is primarily configuration, not coding. We do some occasional software development utilizing Visual Studio, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, M/Mumps and web services).
 

 

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related subject matter with 5 years of relevant work experience or the equivalent required.
  • Organizational and leadership skills are essential.
  • Project management skills, programming skills, and extensive knowledge of microcomputers desired.
