What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Marketer position at Applico?
We are looking for a motivated, analytical, results-driven Digital Marketer to generate interest from and stay top-of-mind with C-suites and the Board of Directors at international multi-billion dollar enterprises.
As a member of the sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our end-to-end client communications strategy to drive new demand, build awareness, and generate leads.
You are the marketing expert. We need your expertise. We want you to come in and generate leads through emails and other channels in the short term. Then, build a marketing department around you which includes tools, dollar allocation, headcount, agency relationships (if needed).

Responsibilities
- Head our Lead Gen efforts to generate meetings with CEOs and C-suites at large, multi-billion dollar enterprises
- Own top-of-funnel (lead generation) through proven channels like email automation (we use Salesloft and Salesforce), Linkedin automation, and our newsletter. We have over 150k leads and contacts already in Salesforce and over 20k newsletter subscribers.
- Manage analytics and create reports to gauge campaign effectiveness
- Hit monthly KPIs and build a team to scale your effectiveness
- Develop compelling email copy and optimize for engagement
- Leverage email copy for Linkedin posts and outreach
- Monitor digital marketing campaign performance and create reports for upper management.
- Analyze traffic numbers and demographic information in order to improve digital marketing strategies.
- Hire contract graphic design, coding, and copywriting specialists as needed.
- Optimize websites and social media channels for search engines, user experience, and marketing objectives.
Requirements
- Super passionate about platform businesses and helping old, large enterprises do disruptive innovation
- At least 4 years of previous B2B digital marketing experience
- Strong and proven email marketing and automation skills at scale
- Strong written communication skills
- Experience with paid acquisition channels
- Strong quantitative and qualitative data analytic skills and solid problem-solving skills, idea generation as well as excellent attention to detail
- Comfort with ambiguity and with working in a fast-paced, always-on, start-up environment
- Extensive experience with SEO, social media campaigns, and email marketing.?
Benefits
The base salary for the Digital Marketing Manager role is $70,000 - $95,000 DOE and there are opportunities for bonuses (total cash compensation is $90,000 - $115,000).
