What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Engineer II, Wet Chemistries position at Applied Materials, Inc?
Key Responsibilities Maintain/operate wet benches, including aqueous chemistry/ solvent handling, waste management, tool maintenance/troubleshoot, within safety guidelines and under general supervision. Generate internal documentation for Standard Operation Procedure, chemical consumption, equipment usage, process log, etc. pertinent to routine wet bench operation and logistics. Measure film properties and pattern critical dimensions, inspect defects/residues, and measure electrical performance of semiconductor package samples. Collect/analyze data and compile reports on moderately difficult process engineering experiments, within safety guidelines. Compile presentations and technical reports. Troubleshoot moderately complex problems, perform Root Cause Analysis, and resolve moderately difficult process engineering issues. Perform hardware characterization on moderately difficult systems, within safety guidelines and under general supervision. Interact and work with process/analytical service providers and vendors/suppliers under general supervision.
