Position Summary:
Responsible for setup, deployment and support of end user computer systems and peripherals. Researches, defines, implements and maintains deployment and maintenance strategies. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, troubleshoots, and also supports end users in a Help Desk capacity. Assists the IT team on various other efforts, related systems, and software.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide end-user support for IT (desktop systems, Printers, Microsoft Office, phone systems, etc.)
- Troubleshoot, research, and escalate technical issues
- Build, maintain and install systems and software
- Active Directory, Exchange, account creation and basic maintenance
- Windows operating systems. Understand processes, security, local accounts vs. domain accounts, profiles, services, etc.
- Experience with Desktop repair/installation, knowledge of main internal components of a system, replacement of these parts; ability to install software, operating systems, drivers, etc.
- Basic Networking (IP/Ethernet) - IP Addresses, subnets, VLAN
- Imaging, data recovery, automation, sysprep
- Research and manage peripherals, adapters, other tools, and software as requested
- Malware management, removal, prevention, anti-virus - experience with Symantec Endpoint Protection a plus
- Any Enterprise Resource Planning software, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX (a plus, not required)
- Research/obtain quotes for PCs, hardware, misc. as needed by I.T.
- Create/ Maintain internal IT technical documentation
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
- May travel to other locations to help work on computer systems
