Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and innovative Sales Development Intern who will work in tandem with the SDR team in identifying qualified sales leads, and implementing strategies to engage and foster relationships that turn into sales opportunities. This internship provides a unique opportunity to explore the intersection of Sales, Marketing, and Sales Development, while developing valuable skills in prospecting and outbound outreach. This short-term undergraduate internship in our Alpharetta office will not only provide you deep insight into how our sales development team supports our global business, but also allow you to play an active part in doing that. If you have strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication skills, and are willing to learn, this is the perfect internship for you!
Responsibilities:
· Learn the basics of our product lines and understand how companies leverage our solutions to benefit their business.
· Gain an understanding of our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and different Personas that leverage our solution and perform ERP evaluations.
· Collaborate with the Sales Development team to identify and qualify potential leads and prospects within our target market.
· Research accounts and work directly with our ADR team funneling prospect accounts to the ADRs for outreach and conversion into sales opportunities.
· Learn different cold outreach and warm outreach tactics used in business development and prepare yourself for starting as a Sales Development Representative.
· Collaborate with Marketing to support campaigns and promotions.
· Contribute your own ideas to the Marketing and Account Development teams to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our Sales Development process.
Skills/Requirements:
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated high attention to detail.
· Is a natural competitor! Loves to win, and always trying to outcompete others.
· Is outgoing and loves meeting and talking to new people, with an ability to build relationships and rapport.
· Excellent time management and project management.
· Must be a team player and bring a positive attitude, is enthusiastic, and have a great work ethic.
· Is on track for 2024 graduation in the Business school or other related field.
· Wants to pursue a career in Sales.
