About the role
The Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of customer and internal projects. Project Managers ensure the project is completed on time and within budget, that the project's objectives are met and that everyone else is doing their job properly. Project Managers oversee the project to ensure the desired result is achieved, the most efficient resources are used and the different interests involved are satisfied. May involve travel to customer sites.
You will also:
- Proactively manage project plans for multiple projects – know what’s coming up, and staying ahead
- Manage consultants and resource allocation
- Responsible for all financial aspects of projects and project reporting
- Coordinate all activities internally and with the customer
- Communicate effectively and with all levels at the customer from daily users to C level executives
- Govern projects – steering committee meetings, provide biweekly status reports, ensure budget adherence, and manage scope
- Demonstrate value to the customer
- Mentor project managers
About you
Typically requires 6-7 years or more of related experience.
You must also:
- Have customer-facing, client-focused experience
- Have experience in Microsoft BC and/or NAV
- Have leadership experience
- Have experience in Enterprise Level Software implementations
- Have worked with demanding customers
- Have handled resource allocation
- Be highly proactive with both customers and internal resources
- Be comfortable juggling different responsibilities
