We are seeking an innovative, detail-oriented, and creative team player to fill the role of Operations Trainer. This role requires high levels of enthusiasm, patience, and a passion for learning and presenting. The Operations Trainer will be responsible for facilitating the onboarding and training of Aptive Service Pros during their first few weeks of employment. They will also be responsible for delivering all continuous training programs, as well as working closely with the corporate L&D Program Manager to provide feedback on training methods, content, and the learner’s experience. The primary goal of this position is to enhance our new employees’ training experience and prepare them for a successful career with Aptive.

Responsibilities Include
Facilitate virtual and in-person training on Service Pro responsibilities, procedures, customer service principles, and the use of current software programs
Be accountable for a quality program and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Spend time on routes engaging in on-the-job training for Service Pros, including: modeling quality service, coaching, and directing the work of Service Pros
Develop and maintain instructional materials, training agendas, and on-the-job training resources
Collect learner feedback on training content, methods, and delivery and present findings with the corporate Program Manager
Act as a quality assurance through conducting assessments to identify development needs of Service Pros and recommend additional training as needed
Serve as subject matter expert for the development of future e-learning and facilitator-led content
Use the company LMS (Workday) to enroll learners, maintain documentation, track attendance, and measure progress
Proactively identify and help curate new content to meet evolving training needs
Maintain employee satisfaction and learning program feedback with courtesy and respect
Required Qualifications
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with effective learning and development methods
Ability to explain difficult concepts in a clear and easy to understand way
Working knowledge of e-learning platforms and instructional best practices
Engaging presentation and public speaking skills
Ability to adapt quickly under pressure
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related products such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Invested in the success of others
Detail oriented and results driven
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass a background check (where applicable)
Ability to acquire appropriate pest and service licensing by state
Preferred Qualifications
Prior knowledge of Aptive Service Pro responsibilities and procedures
Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in related field
