Apto Solutions is seeking an HR Manager to join our team in our Atlanta headquarters. The main responsibility for this role is to apply a broad knowledge of HR and hand-on expertise with employee relations, training, employment law, onboarding, change management and payroll. The ideal candidate will develop strong working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization and champion Apto's culture.
The HR Manager will also be responsible for HR related items in our other offices located in Texas and California.
What You'll Do:
- Responsible for managing all Payroll and Human Resources functions and act as liaison between employees and management
- Organize, verify and submit all payrolls on a bi-weekly basis for approximately 100 employees in three geographic locations.
- Liaison with benefits providers
- Hiring, onboarding and termination of employees; Hiring and termination process will be coordinated with our benefits provider so that all benefits available to employees are offered and maintained
- Handling of all requests from managers for the hiring of job candidates and for the termination of employees
- Coach managers on performance, corrective action, and separations
- Maintenance of job descriptions, company policy/handbook and employee and human resources related files
- Compliance with all governmental regulations and reporting requirements
- Employee relations and conflict management; excellent communications and people skills
- Training program management
- Other duties as assigned and assist on special projects as needed
Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Human Resources or related field preferred; HR certification a plus
- Three years of human resources generalist experience
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Understanding of US employment laws and regulations
- Strong knowledge with HR and Payroll practices
- Excellent work ethic; High level of confidentiality
- Netchex experience is a plus
- Experience with manufacturing/processing preferred
