Are you looking for a Seasonal Opportunity at Aqua? We are currently hiring for a full time seasonal Intern available from May through August.
Essential Tasks/Duties:
- All tasks will be distributed across the 12-week internship period.
- Help develop a two (2) page document explaining: What do we do, how do we do it, why do we do it
- Work in coordination on two (2) PSMS (safety management) initiatives
- Develop additional weekly Safety Tailgate topics
- Conduct JSSO's on various crews
- Assist with the Shop Annual Safety Audits
- Conduct additional monitoring for employee noise levels (T&S, Compression, etc.)
- Assist in electronic Pre-Job Safety Meetings and JSSO's in Cority
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a valid driver's license
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Studying for/graduated with safety/health & safety related major
- Familiarity with computers and work systems such as Microsoft office suite
- SAP and intermediate Excel experience preferable
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills; communicate effectively (clearly, concisely, and professionally) with customers and internal staff.
- Ability to work independently and to complete daily activities according to work schedules
- Must always follow directions and implement safety procedures
- A team player able to work effectively in a team fostered multi-tasking environment
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Working conditions may include travel to work sites of Peoples Gas/Essential Utilities and/or other constituents.
- Schedule is Monday thru Friday 7.30am to 4pm.
