Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Technical writers plan, create, and maintain educational content as an integral part of the engineering or user experience. The content is often in the form of documentation, but may also be UI text, sample code, videos, or other educational material. Regardless of the content medium, technical writers are distinguished by their abilities to explain complex topics in a way thats useful to their audience.
- Edit technical content for client's Trust & Safety teams
- Manage ongoing updates, set, and own all deadlines
- Understand, know, and update standards, templates, editorial guidelines, and globalization best practices
- Work with the Product Management, Program Management, Engineering and Operations teams
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communications, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in technical writing
- Experience with technical documentation and analytics
- Experience developing technical documentation and working directly with engineering
Desired:
- 10 years of experience in technical writing
- Experience researching and writing documentation
The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $60 - $63 an hour.
Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
