What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Videographer position at ARA Brand?
ARA's Creative Media team is seeking a junior videographer, editor, and media designer. The candidate must be highly motivated, have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to meet deadlines and execute multiple projects from inception to completion. Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in a professional communication or digital arts field, such as film, videography, photography, or graphic design. Must also be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop). Seeking a team player who can work collaboratively with others and is open to feedback from others and performance improvement.
Duties Include:
- Shooting and editing videos
- Creating animation and motion graphics
- Editing motion graphics for digital media/web projects
- Maintaining organized archived project folders
- Maintaining video products including scripts, storyboards, shooting/editing, and delivery to clients
- Maintaining and managing ARA-owned or rented video equipment
- Creating and assisting in the creation of advertising and promotion concepts
- Creating sound design and audio mix for animated videos
- Serve as a producer/audio technician for narration recording sessions
- Optimize video and audio for web delivery
- Participate in creative team meetings to assess project needs and recommend appropriate design solutions to meet project goals
- Understand and adhere to government 508 compliance requirements for video and create captions and image descriptions as necessary
- Demonstrating understanding of codes and encoding process.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field (professional communication or digital arts)
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
- Previous experienced and a firm understanding of video production and direction, scripting and operation of production equipment
Interviewee will be asked to provide a portfolio of previous work. Travel required up to 25%.
