Aramark has an exciting career opportunity for a Nutrition Manager at the Missouri Department of Corrections where you will have the opportunity to perform a variety of duties to manage the nutrition programs.
This role provides nutrition and operations support to meet client needs, acts as a technical expert for client and internal Aramark inquiries, and provides training and development in areas of nutrition expertise.
Must have or be eligible to sit for the RDN. Candidate will be expeted to visit al 21 sites on a monthly basis. Up to 50% travel is required, otherwise candidate will work from home remotely.

Job Responsibilities
*Serve as staff Dietitian at correctional medical facilities. Conduct nutrition assessments, provide care plans and interventions, education, and appropriate follow up. Coordinate nutrition care with interdisciplinary healthcare team. Nutrition care includes, but not limited to, Total Parental Nutrition, Enteral Nutrition, Inpatient, Long Term Care, Outpatient, and Renal.
*Directly supervise and manage a team of three (3) dietetic technicians. Dietetic technicians work under the Nutrition Manager’s dietetic licensure. Supervise dietetic technicians’ clinical practice.
*Complete regular chart reviews and site visit reviews (both remote and in-person) with the dietetic technician team to ensure they are providing appropriate clinical care that meets client policies and protocols as well as evidence based clinical nutrition practice.
*Support adherence to all client food service and nutrition policies.
*Establish and maintain policies, standards, and programs for the provision of optimal and efficient nutrition care. This includes coordinating and directing all clinical activities.
*Develop goals, objectives and performance planning process for Clinical Nutrition Team (Dietetic Technicians) to maintain high quality care.
*Develop a strong level of trust and credibility with clients and the field regarding the technical nutritional competency of ARAMARK Correctional Services.
*Provides technical expertise in operational menu planning for the Missouri Department of Corrections for regular, therapeutic, religious, and juvenile nutritional needs. Requires an understanding of current applicable nutrition-related government regulations and current nutrition research knowledge for application to meet client needs. Considerations for every opportunity include balancing budgetary restraints with nutritional requirements and client specifications.
*Demonstrate flexibility to support periodic time-sensitive business needs outside the scope of a standard working day or week.
*Plan and implement dietetic technician team training & in-service programs that will improve the processes used to deliver products/services to customers.
*Provide training to assist food service operations in the areas of nutrition and operational support & quality assurance. Provide food service operations support in the areas of menus, medical diets, and food production.
*Provides support for the DOC related to Supply Chain Management (SCM). Acts as the liaison to the field operators and SCM for procurement and distribution. Supports the execution of processes to ensure compliance with purchasing programs.
*Provide support in the execution of Aramark Correctional Services operational standards. Interact with Front Line Managers regularly to provide them the needed tools and information.

Qualifications
Completed a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and course work accredited or approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR): Successful completion of internship program (ACEND), satisfactory score on an exam, plus fulfillment of continuing education requirements).
Must have RDN, sitting for the exam, or eligible to sit for the exam.
Licensed in the state of Missouri, with a minimum of two years relevant experience, and ServSafe certified.
Minimum eighteen (18) months training or experience in state and federal guidelines and accreditation standards regarding dietetics/nutrition.
Food service operations management experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
