In this high profile position, you will interact directly with clients and Account Executives. When the Account Executive is unavailable, your role is to be the “go to” resource for clients, acting as the voice of the client and being able to address all sales issues as directed including entering quote requests, reviewing proposals, collaborating on strategies for closing accounts, and making sure any special needs or concerns are identified. Using our internet-based communications tool, you will manage the front-end project requirements and make sure we accurately understand the client’s needs in terms of stock, schedule, and pricing from the initial proposal through every revision and actual production.
Good communication skills with all levels within the organization are required, and the desire to “go beyond” is necessary! You should be capable of personally handling small “house” accounts to free Account Executives to pursue larger opportunities. It is possible to transition into an Account Executive role based upon your success in this position.
- Bachelor Degree in Graphic Communications or Sales – or – four years related experience in the printing or graphic communications industry.

- Able to be the voice of the customer and Sales Representative to the plant when Sales Representative is unavailable
- Able to present a confident, knowledgeable presence to assure customer that they are a “go to” resource when Sales Representative is not available
- Deals directly with customers and prospects on all sales issues as directed by Sales Representative including
- Reviewing initial project specifications and alerting sales to any opportunities or concerns
- Accurately entering project specifications into Customer-Connect for estimating
- Reviewing estimates and proposals for accuracy
- Releasing proposals to customers as directed by Sales Representative
- Obtaining preliminary and final schedules
- Updating Customer-Connect with appropriate documentation when job is awarded
- Obtaining credit approval
- Reviewing Job Confirmations for accuracy and releasing confirmations to customer
- Communicating stock requirements on behalf of the client and ensuring any resulting purchase orders are accurate
- Coordinating specification revisions through estimating, scheduling, and stock
- Working with Customer Service to make sure job is flowing smoothly through the plant and answering any questions that may arise from customer that were directed toward Sales
- Able to determine when Sales Rep. or Sales Mgr. should be brought into a situation
- Collaborates with Sales Representatives and Management on strategies for closing accounts
- Available to meet with customer as directed by Sales Representative
