Primary Purpose
Under direct supervision, this position performs diversified clerical and administrative support to one or more functional areas within Human Resources.
General Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day operation of the HR Department
- Provide talent acquisitions support, including reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting interviews
- ADP timekeeping administration for hourly employees
- Planning and conducting new hire orientations and ensuring documents are properly completed
- Provide administrative support for training coordination and administration
- Coordinate employee wellness initiatives and support community involvement activities
- Administrative support for employee event planning
- Responsible for monitoring inventory and ordering mill office supplies
- Support departmental quality goals and performance metrics
- Prioritize and manage numerous projects simultaneously in a timely fashion
- Providing administrative support to the mill as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma required; Associates degree in HR or a business related field preferred
- 2 plus years of experience in HR or Administration required, manufacturing industry preferred; Less than 2 years’ experience may be considered if combined with directly applicable formal education and manufacturing experience
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office suite of products, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent organization skills and demonstrated experience leading projects required
- Must be detail-oriented and follows through with all areas of responsibility
- Ability to adapt to a broad range of employees at all levels of the organization
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Excellent problem solving and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule
- Ability to handle multiple assignments
