What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Coffee Bar Barista position at Arbor Farms?
Arbor Farms is looking for dynamic and health-oriented team members to work in our Cafe operations. AFM is Ann Arbor's only locally owned and operated Natural and Organic Food Store, celebrating our 43rd Anniversary this year, with an emphasis on delivering the freshest and most wholesome preservative-free products on the West Side. We are foodies who love health & wellness and want to share those passions with our neighbors and guests. Our team members create a friendly shopping experience in our store. We answer questions, offer suggestions and ensure our customers know they are welcomed and cared for. Responsibilities include:
- Working in teams to accomplish goals
- Operating a manual Espresso Machine
- Operating the Cash Register
- Creating signage to inform and delight customers
- Menu development and creativity on the Smoothie/Juice Bar
- Hosting product samples for customers
- Helping customers find their favorite products
- Ordering products and supplies
- Maintaining accurate costing information in the system
- Continue to maintain productivity and efficiency goals
We are seeking a qualified and reliable Full Time Lead Barista to showcase their talents in our Health Store Café. Must be passionate about coffee, teas, smoothies and/or juice. Shift hours are 630-3pm and/or 11-730pm. Hours of operations are 7am to 7pm. If you have a passion for people and a fervor for food, we'd love to meet you. We can teach you the rest.
