The Data Governance Design and Implementation Lead has consulting and entrepreneurial leadership experience. Candidates have a demonstrated ability to perform at a high level in an innovative and agile environment, and they have a desire to collaborate on a team supporting a complex, high-profile mission. Candidates also have an interest in housing and urban issues, in driving their own sustained professional growth, and in facilitating the growth of others. Additionally, they have direct experience building and maturing data governance in organizations.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience leading and performing on data governance projects that drive mission results (e.g., establishing data management and governance organizational units, governance bodies, processes, etc.)
- Experience providing data governance, data architecture, and organizational change
- Experience institutionalizing data governance, building data capabilities and coaching and/or communicating change in large organizations with measurable results
- Strong leadership skills
- Outstanding written, oral, and data visualization communication
- Outstanding collaboration skills
- Strong desire to work in a team environment
- Proven ability to develop great client relationships
- Strong interest in housing and/or urban development
- Entrepreneurial skills and interest in contributing to a fast-growing consulting firm
- Experience supervising or leading dynamic teams preferred
Clearance: U.S. Citizenship only (no dual citizenship)/Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Experience with homeland security agencies or similar Federal Government organizations a plus
- Experience with process transformation and stakeholder management is highly relevant
- Current Public Trust/Suitability with a Federal Government agency a plus
