Project Manager, Consulting (Clearance)

A Project Manager, Consulting (Clearance) leads one or more management consulting projects and translates ideas into action by designing and delivering high quality services and solutions. Ideal candidates bring an innovation mindset, experience managing consulting projects, and a desire to provide trusted advice to clients and stakeholders. Top Secret clearance. Responsibilities include:

• Supervising and managing people, tasks, and deliverables
• Managing teams and providing mission and innovation-focused support on complex management consulting projects for the Federal Government
• Delivering outstanding client service and acting as a trusted adviser on learning and change initiatives
• Leading initiatives to implement company strategy, grow new business, and develop our capabilities
• Working with others and inspiring them to develop quickly

Arc Aspicio is a rapidly growing consulting firm, and we are looking for consulting project leaders that want to contribute to the future direction of the company. Our entrepreneurial project leaders solve difficult problems for our clients and work in a supportive and “helping” team environment. They are the linchpin between our strong company culture and our innovative project teams. Our project locations are in the Washington DC metro area. Project Leaders spend time at client sites and at our primary DC office.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 5-7 years of relevant work experience and 3-4 years of leading projects and driving mission results
• Experience delivering program management support services for Information Technology (IT) programs
• Consulting and stakeholder management experience on large Government programs
• Direct experience with client and stakeholder engagement (including senior-level leaders) in a dynamic and mission-critical environment
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where candidates work directly with clients and provide support for company strategic initiatives
• Experience managing all aspects of a project—including client satisfaction, scope, budget, schedule, risk, and quality—with formal project management processes, methods, and tools
• Desire to work with others and to help others develop
• Interest in homeland security and emergency management missions
• Passion for delivering excellent client satisfaction balanced with a passion for business and growing a company
• Critical Skills: Entrepreneurial spirit, experience in new business, strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and interest in supporting multiple projects at fast-growth consulting firm
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required, minimum
• Clearance: U.S. Citizenship / Top Secret security clearance

Additional Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in Federal Government consulting
• Advanced project management certification (PMP or similar certification or training)
