Our Senior Project Managers oversee one or more management consulting projects that design and deliver high quality services and solutions – translating ideas into action. They have 10 years of experience structuring workstreams, leading consultants, and providing consulting, strategy, and strategic communications for the Federal Government. Ideal candidates bring an innovative mindset, experience managing consulting projects, and a desire to provide trusted advice to clients and stakeholders. They have a strong track record of leading teams supporting complex projects by providing exceptional supervision and management of people, tasks, and deliverables.

Arc Aspicio is currently working a hybrid work environment where work will be performed at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and, as approved, remotely on a part time basis. All candidates must live in the Washington, DC area at time of employment
Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and direction across multiple projects to promote consistent delivery and develop strong client relationships with senior leaders
- Build effective project management and control processes and procedures aligned with PMBOK best practices
- Apply functional expertise in performance management and strategic planning to drive lasting change
- Deliver outstanding client service and act as a trusted adviser on organizational capability-building and change initiatives
- Manage teams and provide mission and innovation-focused support on complex management consulting projects for the Federal Government
- Supervise and manage people, tasks, and deliverables on complex consulting contracts
- Lead initiatives to implement company strategy, grow new business, and develop our capabilities
- Contribute to our company culture, which promotes client-focused teamwork, learning, and helping others to grow and develop
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience leading management consulting projects that drive mission results (e.g., strategy, process improvement, organizational change management, technology, etc.)
- Background in managing all aspects of a project – including client satisfaction, scope, budget, schedule, risk, and quality – with formal project management processes, methods, and tools
- Significant work experience in justice or social systems
- Direct experience with client and stakeholder engagement in a dynamic and mission-critical environment and proven skills in developing strong client relationships
- Desire to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment where candidates work directly with clients and balance contributing to company growth through new business and strategic initiatives
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-person
- Passion for excellent client satisfaction and collaborating and developing others
- Ability to lead a team in a hybrid environment and work on site with the client
- Clearance: US Citizenship required (no dual citizenship) / ability to obtain a security clearance
- Education: Advanced degree (MA/MS) in social science research
- Critical Skills: Entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, resilience, flexibility, learning-oriented, excited to engage
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Project Management Institute project management best practices and financial management
- Experience leading strategic initiatives and business development for a growing consulting firm
- Advanced project management certification (PMP or similar certification or training)
