Forensic Accounting Expert

Arcadis is seeking a Forensic Accounting Expert to join our team in Middletown, CT. The ideal candidate will have 20 years of construction claims related experience in a consulting environment.

Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a Forensic Accounting Expert to join our team in Middletown, CT. The ideal candidate will have 20 years of construction claims related experience in a consulting environment.

Role accountabilities:

Primary responsibilities of the Forensic Accounting Expert include but are not limited to:

• Lead a team in the analysis or preparation of complex construction claims, being responsible for the deliverable to the client (report, presentation or expert testimony).
• Support clients on active projects in a contract management or claims management role
• Interface effectively with clients, coworkers, and others.
• Travel up to 10% of time

Qualifications & Experience:

• A Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related degree.
• Certified Public Accountant
• 20 years of accounting and construction claims experience.
• Experience performing forensic accounting on large, complex construction projects
• Exceptional written and verbal communications and organizational skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testifying in court or binding arbitration

Arcadis offers benefits for full time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage along with a 401K plan, STD and LTD, and Life Insurance as well as some additional optional benefits.

Full time positions also come with annual PTO days and at certain levels a bonus program may apply.

The Salary range for this role is $200/hr -$300/hr.
