What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacist position at ARCARE?
The Infusion Pharmacist will work in conjunction with the pharmacist-in-charge to confirm and fill compounded medication for the home infusion setting.
Essential Functions for Infusion Pharmacist:
- Maintains all appropriate records and logs of pharmacy inventory.
- Responsible for ordering and receiving drug supplies.
- Assists Finance Department with third party Remittance Advice reports when needed.
- Dispenses all medications ordered, in compliance with state Pharmacy Laws and Regulations.
- Educates consumers regarding prescribed medications.
- Reviews labs and adjusts therapies in coordination with prescribers.
- Ensure accuracy or orders and fill accordingly.
- Consults with providers as needed regarding medication usage and trends.
- Performs all job duties in compliance with company Safety and Infection Control policies.
- Alternate on-call weeks with Pharmacist-In-Charge
