Join us in our mission and vision. ARCH is seeking full time Residential Service Providers for our residential Substance Use Disorder treatment facility for women, Bethany Hall.

Starting wage is $14.10 per hour, at a growing agency that consistently promotes from within. The following are shifts needed:
Every other Friday & Saturday: 12:00a.m.-8:00a.m.
Every other Saturday & Sunday 4:00p.m.-12:00a.m.
Position Summary: The Residential Service Provider performs routine paraprofessional support to the agency under direction of the Program Director. The Residential Service Provider position oversees the clients and activities during their shift for the program for which they are assigned and participates as part of the core staff providing input for program direction and improvement.
Minimum Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent and relevant experience in customer service, social work, or any direct client and/or customer position. While mental health/human services experience is preferred, will train the appropriate candidate that displays the ability to interact with clients of diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interacts with clients, co-workers and volunteers with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Interacts with clients to provide and promote a therapeutic environment.
- Ensures clients are compliant with house rules.
- Provides written feedback to the case manager regarding client needs.
- Documents client information as appropriate, including documentation of violations of house rules for Program Director.
- Completes filing in client charts and database entry of client records as requested by Director.
- Performs drug and alcohol screens.
- Screens potential clients by completing background applications and researching criminal histories.
- Attends all mandatory staff meetings.
- Attends and assists in the facilitation of core staff meetings once a month.
- Assists in the training of new employees, specifically those in the RSP I position.
- Assists in the check-in and orientation of new residents, ensuring that all check in procedures are completed with accuracy.
- Documents donations of in-kind gifts and provides receipts to donors.
- Participates in annual strategic planning with the Board of Directors, Executive Director and other core staff members.
- Provides feedback and suggestions to the Executive Director on the needs and challenges of their shift assignment.
- Performs all shift tasks assigned by Executive Director or designee.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Must have effective oral and written communication skills in English.
- Must be comfortable working with people of various socioeconomic backgrounds; races and ethnicities; ages; genders; sexual orientations; political and religious perspectives; family compositions; degrees of mental, physical, cognitive and emotional abilities; and those with histories of alcohol and substance abuse.
- Ability to use standardized word processing software (such as Microsoft Word).
- Must be able to climb stairs.
- Must be able to operate general office equipment.
- Must be able to sometimes carry up to 20 pounds a distance of up to 50 feet.
- Must be able to sit for up to 4 hours.
- Must be able to provide written and oral instructions to clients.
- Must be able to visually observe clients at a distance of 10 feet or more.
