The Global Technology Development Organization is aligned within the enterprise process framework to the Accountable Executive/Global Process Owner (AE/GPO) organization for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management. As a member of the Global Technology Organization, a Sr. Automation Developer will be responsible for understanding the AS-IS process and designing the TO-BE process workflow, automation design and develop automations using RPA and scripting tools.

- Analyzing and understanding the business processes
- Identifying and communicating the technical software requirements
- Design automated solutions in accordance with Enterprise Leading Practices and design principles
- Work with Process SMEs to document the process and automation solutions
- Assist and write SDDs the clearly document the TO-BE process workflow and automation design
- Working within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager accordingly and providing inputs to the change control process.
- Creating and documenting test procedures and scenarios for the pre-UAT phases
- Develop and test automation processes including unit and integration testing
- Analyze and resolve automation software issues where required
- Participate in peer review of solution designs
- Support business process owners during user acceptance testing
- Identify and communicate risks associated with process automation candidates
- Support investigation and remediation of test and production issues
- Support production deployments processes and performance testing
- Provide inputs and lessons learned from the automation development and production issues handled
Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in software development
- 3 years of experience in automation development using tools Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, or UiPath.
- Knowledge of programming languages like .Net, Java, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript etc.
- Knowledge of business process modeling and reengineering
- Awareness of standard SDLC (e.g. Agile, Scrum etc.) and change control processes
- Ability blend business and technical analysis to develop efficient process automation
- Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to non-technical audience
- Experience developing and testing software
- Ability and willingness to travel by auto and air as needed to achieve business objectives
- Technical Leader in Automation space and has the ability to train and mentor others
