Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and communicate vital activities with Quincy Customer Service to serve the customer effectively.
- Coordinate activities with Production Scheduling, Trucking, and Warehouse in regards to order status.
- Responsible for distributing orders as they come from Quincy.
- Prepare and work with Production Scheduler on orders that need manufactured.
- Assign product to orders for shipment – lot order scheduling.
- Initiate investigations of inventory when customers question discrepancies. Key contact for problem solving related to orders and shipments.
- Responsible for Consignment orders which includes but not limited to Ecosyl and Merck.
- Responsible for internal requisitions.
- Assist sales force as needed.
- Assist walk-in customer orders.
- Responsible for coordination of UPS, LTL shipments, Fed Ex samples, and routing outside carriers for truckloads of outbound freight.
- Coordinate product releases with Jacobson warehouse.
- Maintain backorder report, expected receipts report, open purchase order report, and open order report.
- Coordinate movement of product from north warehouse.
- Prepare monthly backhaul report.
- Additional backup functions within office personnel.
- 3-5 years experience in Customer Service.
- Excellent organizational skills, detailed oriented.
- Strong digital literacy.
- Previous working experience in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Great teammate with every aspect within our organization.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with internal and external customers
- Experience in Oracle based program desired but not required
