What You’ll Do
- Perform all purchasing/ordering activities on targeted programs and/or categories of the aircraft, including but not limited to the creation and tracking of all flows to and from Archer Supply base (Purchase Orders, Transfer Orders, Return), on time, on quality and in alignment with Archer sourcing strategy.
- Prepare, maintain and verify the accuracy of his/her Open Purchase Order book, and the proactive identification and mitigation of risks of delays.
- Participate in the implementation of short, medium-term initiatives within the Purchasing team, aiming to promote effectiveness, efficiency and data accuracy.
- Achieve or exceed goals in terms of Purchasing performance, including but not limited to On Time PO placement, On Time PO delivery and material availability.
- Act as the Purchasing subject matter expert during the selection, development, and implementation of Archer ERP system.
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 5 years of experience preparing, scheduling and expediting purchase orders, and contacting suppliers to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries and other problems.
At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business. For this position we are offering $130,000 to $145,000 per year.
