Job Posting for Junior Architect at Architect

Architecture Firm seeking beginning to intermediate level architect or Engineer with 1 - 2 years’ experience with proven experience in a detailed and coordinated set of construction documents for modern and traditional style high end homes. AutoCAD experience is a must.

Applicant shall be pro-active, self-motivated, highly organized, and detail orientated. Candidate must have strong technical, written, and design skills, and must be well versed in construction administration. Must be a strong team player who can work on several projects simultaneously

Based on initial trail period, experience, and ability to design and execute projects that meet or exceed the offices general vision.

Essential Duties:

  • Prepare construction drawings
  • Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications
  • On site construction administration representation with photo documentation, meeting with contractors, and sub-contractors to review progress and conformance of construction documents.
  • Resolve on site details, questions, or concerns
  • Review and approval of application for payments
  • Review and submittal of bid package to general contractor for bidding and negotiating phase
  • Redline and review of in house drawing sets.
  • Construction document and general project drafting - Level of drafting and experience
  • Punch List

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Construction Experience: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Project Management: 3 years (Preferred)
