Job Description
Overview: Coordinates and performs operational activities and minor maintenance and repair activities on gas compression and/or process/production equipment at field or plant locations in a manner consistent with the company’s goals and objectives as directed. May act as a technical resource for more complex issues in assigned area.

Essential Duties: (Approximate % of Time Spent)
\n\n \n \n \n- Coordinates and performs operational activities and minor maintenance and repair activities on gas compression and/or process/production equipment. (~40%)
\n- Work independently or with others to perform Call-outs (CO) and corrective maintenances (CM's) with minor assistance from a technical expert. (~20%)
\n- Complete minor unit/facility maintenance independently and assist FSTs with major repairs, overhauls, or start-up inspections. (~15%)
\n- Expected to identify opportunities and to provide ideas, methods and innovations to enhance teamwork, efficiency and quality. (~10%)
\n- Anticipates and proactively solves moderately complex problems using internal and external resources. (~10%)
\n- Assist/be a resource for less experienced team members. (~5%)
\n\n

\nSkills and Abilities:
\nAbility to (as required by contract or area):
\n- Demonstrate proficiency and understanding to perform quality, efficient work alone with less assistance.
\n- Perform equipment maintenance including cleaning, painting, lubricating, collecting oil samples, and adding fluids as directed.
\n- Collect unit or process equipment gauge or display readings as required for reports.
\n- Complete minor unit/facility maintenance independently and assist FSTs with major repairs, overhauls, or start-up inspections.
\n- Safely start/load/shutdown units or facilities as applicable with minor supervision.
\n- Perform operations-related unit inspections through 10,000 hours.
\n- Demonstrate proper use of tools required for unit / facility maintenance and repair.
\n- Work independently or with others to perform Call-outs (CO) and corrective maintenances (CM's) with minor assistance from a technical expert.
\n- Complete and submit company required documentation in an accurate and timely fashion.
\n- Perform cycle counts of parts inventory.
\n- Perform visual emissions certifications and observations.
\n- Read, write and speak English (work orders, manuals, etc.)
\n- Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures.
\n- Demonstrate computer skills, including Internet Explorer, Outlook, Word and Excel, as well as site specific equipment or facility programs.
\n- Demonstrate customer service skills.
\n- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment as required to meet deadlines.
\n\n
Knowledge:
\n- Working knowledge of relevant HSE procedures and regulations, may include specialized site specific requirements. Knowledge of basic first-aid practices.
\n- Generally understands all processes and systems on how a compressor/facility flow.
\n- General knowledge of production equipment, piping, filtration, regulation, and dehydration system incorporated at the facility.
\n- Knowledge of gas engine and compressor, electrical systems, panelboards, skid wiring, etc., through Compressor 101, equivalent training or performance verification.
\n- Knowledge of some new technologies.
\n\n
Minimum Education and Certification:
\n- High school diploma or equivalent.
\n- Must provide own hand-tools up to 1 1/4".
\n- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
\n- Successful completion of CPR-First Aid, Visible Emission Certifications and Observations, H2S Training and other required trainings or specific requirements as applicable to the site or facility.
\n\n

\n- Typically more than 2 years related experience and/or training.
\n\n

\n- May serve as a resource to others with less experience.
\n- Often called on to assist in training or mentoring less experienced personnel.
