What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marshall position at Arcis Golf?
Patrol golf course, keeping the pace of play up and responding to golfers' questions or concerns.
Essential Functions:
1. Coordinate golf course activities with golf shop and outside service.
2. Maintain an inventory of scorecards, pencils, tees, divot repair tools, and ball markers.
3. Ensure the practice tee and green are clean and orderly by actively picking up baskets and/or golf balls from respective areas.
4. Monitor pace of play and enforce Club policies, rules, course etiquette, and daily course rules.
5. Ensure “Marshal Cart” is equipped with ice towels (when necessary) and fully stocked with operational First Aid Equipment including AED machine
6. Maintains cleanliness and neatness of fitness equipment and facility.
7. Ensures a pleasant visit for each guest; maintains effective guest relations.
8. Performs special projects delegated by management.
9. Stays updated on latest developments pertinent to the department as well as the location.

Demonstrated outstanding customer service. Must possess willingness to learn and perform new golf programs, excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, drive and motivation. Flexibility with schedule with evenings and weekend work required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and interpret retail product labeling. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
