Arcosa Marine Products, Inc., is searching for a Contracts Administrator that will be based in Ashland City, TN or Madisonville, LA. Reporting to the VP of Sales, this position will play a critical role in ensuring compliance and continuity with sales contracts while handling other sales administration duties. The Contracts Administrator will be responsible for all aspects of contract administration: providing sales support for internal and external customers, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
Arcosa’s Inland Barge Group is comprised of Arcosa Marine Products, Inc., a leading manufacturer of barges used to transport cargo on U.S. inland waterways. Arcosa Marine Products manufactures dry cargo barges, including flat-deck and hopper barges, that are used to transport a variety of products including grain, coal, and aggregates. Arcosa Marine Products also manufactures tank barges that carry petroleum, fertilizer, ethanol, chemicals, and other liquid cargoes. It is the largest U.S. manufacturer of fiberglass hopper barge covers used primarily on grain barges. Additionally, Arcosa Marine Products provides a full line of deck hardware to the marine industry, including hatches, castings, and winches for towboats and dock facilities.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare, submit and manage extensive applications to the U.S. Coast Guard for the documentation of new vessels
- Develop and distribute contract briefs, change order memos and barge order information to engineering and production
- Provide accounting with invoicing instructions in accordance with contractual payment milestones
- Work closely with Accounts Receivable to ensure customer invoices are paid by the due date
- Maintain all contract documents and support information as required for contract management and audit purposes
- Submit internal requests for credit approvals
- Distribute monthly barge delivery schedules to customers
- Record contract and order information in Arcosa's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application
- Schedule specification and engineering review meetings with internal personnel and customers as needed
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years’ prior relevant experience, preferably in contract administration
- Energetic and strong work ethic
- Ability to develop strong relationships with both internal and external customers
- Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Outlook and CRM Tools
- Ability to be productive and effective working independently or as part of a team
- Prior experience submitting documentation to government agencies
- Prior maritime experience a plus
- Customer service experience a plus
